CDP was recently awarded by the Kentucky Chapter of the KY American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the Merit Award for the Georgetown Fire Station BMP Parking Lot. This project has also received national attention for its sustainable design, green infrastructure and stormwater management practices.

CDP is very pleased to welcome Ed Sidebotham and Katie Pentecost, RLA, LEED AP BD+C to its team. Mr. Sidebotham has joined CDP as the Senior Designer and has over 20 years of experience in designing and drafting of wastewater collection and transportation systems. His experience also includes site development design, water distribution systems and construction inspection. Ms. Pentecost is a Landscape Architect with a wide range of experience in construction and planning projects both small and large scale- collaborating with team members consisting of other architects, engineers, contractors and owners.

Construction at the South Elkhorn Pump Station is nearly complete. Currently, the landscape material and the water quality rain garden are being installed. The rain garden and permeable concrete pavement are two examples of green infrastructure at this facility, which services as a demonstration project for LFUCG.

Spring has sprung! Nicholasville's Streetscape construction rebar flowers are going on Main Street. After a long winter, construction activity has returned to Nicholasville's Main Street. Pictures show the footer and reinforcement steel for steps and ramps along Main Street.

The Bluegrass Rain Garden Alliance demonstrated the Rain Garden Installations on Wednesday, October 15th, and Friday, October 17, at the Good Foods Coop on 455 Southland Drive, and at Oleika Shriner's Temple at 326 Southland Drive, Lexington KY. CDP secured the grant from Kentucky American Water and assisted with securing additional funding and support for the project. CDP has donated all time associated with the design and community outreach for this project.
