CDP provided design and construction administration services for the infield renovation/repair of the Bryan Station High School baseball field. The existing infield drained poorly, resulting in undesirable playing conditions. The solution required five inches of the infield material and the irrigation system to be removed. An infield underdrain system, drywell inlets with stormwater collection chambers, junction box, headwall, and concrete flume were designed and constructed. Regrading of the infield, site restoration, new infield equipment, new irrigation system, and utility work at the backflow preventer were also included in the project.
- construction administration services resulted in only one change order; project completed within limited timeline
- utilized best management practices to develop a design solution that maintains a sustainable philosophy
- subsurface stormwater collection chambers within drywells under coach’s box
- drainage system prevents standing water and soil saturation in the infield
