In 2003, CDP Engineers, Inc. began a relationship with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) by performing an ALTA boundary and topographic survey of the main KCTCS office located in Versailles, Kentucky. CDP was selected initially, in part, because of our connection with the prior owner of the building and improvements on the 15-acre parcel, however, since that initial survey CDP has been contracted to perform additional mapping and topographic surveys, boundary surveys and ALTA surveys for KCTCS. In 2005, CDP completed boundary surveys of two adjacent parcels located on Ryley Court and completed a third parcel in 2006. In 2008, CDP prepared an exhibit drawing of all parcels comprising the Versailles campus at the request of KCTCS.
In November, 2012, KCTCS again contracted with CDP to perform an ALTA survey of parcels of land adjacent to the main campus. The periphery of the new survey included parcels fronting on Markham Drive and parcels bounded by former railroad property including some still active tracks. The title research associated with determining the chain of title for the railroad properties was very intensive and challenging. After the most recent additions, the main campus now covers more than 22½ acres.
