CDP Engineers, Inc. provided surveying services for this project from the inception to the eventual development of the Trader Joe’s Market in Lexington, Kentucky. CDP was contracted to perform an ALTA boundary and topographic survey of the existing site conditions at a parcel of land located at 2629 Nicholasville Road. At that time the site contained a structure and amenities of an abandoned restaurant. The survey was provided to Architects and Planners who prepared conceptual designs and construction documents based on the survey. The conceptual design required that several new easements be created as well as a subdivision/consolidation of an adjacent parcel. CDP prepared a Record plat and legal descriptions that were filed with County clerk. During construction, CDP provided construction layout for the contractor and prepared as-built sanitary sewer plans as required by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
